We have just completed construction of a civic pavilion intended for use by musicians, for public events (such as our upcoming Mayoral Inauguration), and by theatre troops, among others. It is a handsome, sturdy structure with a graceful roof design that replicates the original 1880 train station built on this site.
We have had many volunteers involved in the construction of this outdoor pavilion, and to a person, they all raved about the application of the Authentic Roof shingle. Many of our volunteers had never roofed a building, but they found your shingles solid, and easy to work with. They cut well and went on easily. In fact, an architect wandered through the site and commented, "I cannot believe you used real slate shingles!" It even fooled the eye of a professional.
The Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) is a non-profit organization that educates professionals and the general public about green building and renewable energy. This pavilion incorporates the best of what we know - your sturdy shingles, iron railings, aluminum ramp, original cobblestones, and TREX steps. We are therefore delighted to recommend your outstanding product to other professionals in the trade. Frequently we receive requests for products that use renewable energy in some fashion. The fact that your original shingles use recycled materials in the creation of them is a real plus - and of great interest to our members.
Again, we thank you for allowing us to create a long-lasting building that will stand for years to come as a testimony to the implementation of top-quality products.
