Fernie Canadian Rockies

Authentic Roof was selected to supply the roof replacement material for the heritage Catholic Church in the Canadian Rockies community of Fernie, British Columbia. Their product was selected for the durability, the snow shedding  and the architectural appearance characteristics. The environmental friendliness, the ease of installation and the matching slate colors were all factors in selecting the light Galveston grey slate product. This church, built in 1911, is one of several classic buildings in the local community. The restored church remains an iconic heritage building along with the Provincial Court House, the 1909 Post Office and the original mining company headquarters.
